This is Rocktober!

Rain over ROCKTOBER!

As though an overly fueled BBQ, ROCKTOBER burned beyond brightness during it’s first week in existence and then during it’s second it died down to embers. This was my fault. We went hard and fast within that first week. I forgot one of my Dad’s life lessons. “Life is a marathon, not a sprint,” says Father. By the second week I was already tired and without motivation. Not so this third week. I am revitalized and so should you be. We are nearing the half way mark. What have you done so far? What have you put off? This week don’t run until you drop, but instead find that perfect pace. This week is the first rain of the season and what is rain but a source of renewal. Every night this week I am going to go to every bar I’ve been meaning to go to since I moved to LA and have one drink there. Just one. I will sip the scotch and absorb the atmosphere of the watering holes that make LA so unique amongst cities. What does this mean for my projects that I am working on? A great deal. At times, a person needs to step out and see the world to gain the perspective needed to finish that which are close to his/her heart. Enjoy the showers coming. Run into the streets and let those drops slam against your tongue. Taste the nature and marvel at it’s wonders. We are alive, and we are going to ROCK you!
