ROCKTOBER HERO OF THE DAY: BOBBY BYRNE WHY IS HE A HERO? For those of you who were lucky enough to attend the screening of Braid’s thesis film last night I don’t have to tell you why Bobby is the ROCKTOBER hero of the day, you already know. For the rest of you here it is, Bobby has been living his dream of singing for people since he was a teenager. Think about that for a moment. Bobby had a dream of singing and entertaining people when he was in his teens. He now has granddaughters and is still knocking the the roof off of every venue he plays. He has been living his dream his entire life, through the ups and downs. He invested in a restaurant that went belly up and got drafted into Vietnam. Throughout all this, he has built and maintained an extremely loyal fan base who travel with him on cruises and plan out their lives around his performance schedule. They go see him, not for a different show every time but instead because Bobby’s energy and enthusiasm spreads out throughout the crowd in every show, EVERY SHOW! Age hasn’t slowed him down, it has only helped to build his repertoire of medleys and slightly corny jokes. If you are ever in Jersey look up Bobby’s Schedule at Bobbybyrne.com.
